Work Loss Management monitors your random program to ensure compliance with all DOT regulations.

Medical Review Officer Services
The Role of Medical Review Officer
The Medical Review Officer (MRO) is a predominant figure within the drug testing program. All decisions made by the MRO require a detailed knowledge of substance abuse, the ability to recognize an abuser and make appropriate referral.

Work Loss Management’s Medical Review Officers are Board Certified physicians licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida and possess considerable knowledge in the medical use of prescription drugs, pharmacology and toxicology of illicit drugs. Our Medical Review Officers will:
  • Be responsible for interpreting all test results obtained through the drug test program.
  • Conduct a medical interview with the individual, review the medical history, and any other relevant biomedical factors which could account for the positive test result.
  • Work in collaboration with the laboratory director and consultants to review the laboratory records to determine whether the required procedures were followed.
  • Validate collection procedures, laboratory testing, and test results.
